I have a picture of Ben on that spot. I think the ground there isn’t really good for digging… I think it’s either murky and ashy or hard (I can’t remember). Death Valley is cool - Ben and I were only there for a couple of hours (*cough*bad packing planning on Ben’s part *cough*) but I’d like to go back.

It’s cool looking up a big cliff and seeing a little sign saying “sea level”. :-)
