I have a new article up at the Indie Travel Podcast Website. This is a follow up to last months article in which I list off what I think are the basic 4 things that should be done to a vehicle for living in it. Those 4 things mostly dealt with privacy and stealthiness. In this article I get into more about making it comfortable. If you have any additional suggestions please leave a comment on the article. Also, I’d love for you to StumbleUpon it or Digg it as well. Thanks!
Anyone have an suggestions for a topic for next month’s article?

And both are featured on our new Vandwelling resource page that we’re piecing together. It needs a lot of work, but it’s a start.
I think the best inspiration for you to work on it would be for the two fo you to move into a van. :)
Hi, Jessica,
I’m Everett, 44, married, living in Iowa.
I really enjoy your website. One of my biggest fascinations in life has been ‘homes on wheels’, from the smallest cars to the biggest
castles on wheels, and the more ‘outside the box’, the better.
My wife and I are spending our third (yes, third!) winter in Iowa, and despite some challenges (there were a few), have no
regrets. Our home is a 38 foot 5th wheel. We live in an RV and vacation in a tent (!), attending rallies with the Escapees
RV Club, which we’ve belonged to since 02. We have a ball doing it.
I empathize with those who are forced into living in their cars, but I admire those who have made it their choice, and I wish all of them
the best. While I do enjoy the RV living, I have to admit there are some days I wish I was living out of a car.
Safe journeys, Jessica, wherever they may take you..
Everett
Thanks Everett, glad you’re enjoying the site!
I have enjoyed your site a few times and now envious of your time in Hawaii, as it is beastly cold here in MINnesota.
I love your picture taking. My shots are mostly flowers. I know H. is abundant with them. I was there in 1980. Great fun.
I am your Mother’s first cousin on the Voorhees side. and we were so happy to
visit with her and Con in Oct. here at my home. And a note of thanks for your wonderful tatted snowflake
as your Mom gifted me . so well done.
a rough winter here with weather, illness surgeries etc. Spring will be most welcome here.
Have fun traveling and be safe wherever you roll!
Thanks for the note. Glad you liked the snowflake. I’m working on putting together an online shop with Etsy to sell my tatting. Mom has been showing pictures of her trip back to Minnesota in October. She had a very good time visiting with you!
